A glimpse of the garden…

Our garden is fairly new, created by
Weyland over the last twelve years. In
previous years, the land was an open field
and the grass used for silage to help feed
cattle over winter.
Weyland was thrilled to receive an
invitation from Scotland’s Garden Scheme
to host an Open Garden Day.
And so, we’re delighted to say in August
2017, the garden opened to the public
with more than 150 visitors.
With afternoon teas and home baking as
well as a plant stall by Westlea Plants.
Once again in 2019, the garden opened
for Scotland’s Garden Scheme charities
and Cancer Research, with the kind help
from our neighbours, friends and family,
£1,142 was raised on the day.
The sun was shining upon us for our garden open day for Scottish Garden Scheme charities and Cancer Research
Sunday, 18th August 2019 with our heartfelt thanks to our very kind neighbours, friends and family,
and of course all those who visited the garden and supported us on the day.
Just a little rain at the end of the day, but that didn’t dampen the spirits!
